Giannis Manouilidis: I'm going to be a world champion!

Brevity is the soul of wit. spoke with the young fighter, who signed with 4 Champs Promotions this past summer, about continuing his career abroad and the fulfilment of his one and only goal.

Giannis, how did your transition from kickboxing to boxing happen?

I wanted to be a boxer from a young age. My dream was to grow up, box in American and become a good name.

Tell us about your Los Angeles experience.

My experience in America was unbelievable! I trained with people that I saw on TV and sparred with big names. I started to view the game differently; I became stronger, physically and mentally.

What are Giannis Manouilidis' goals from now on?

I have one goal: To be world champion. And, believe me, I will achieve it.

Who are your favorite fighters from the present or past?

Only one. Vasyl Lomachenko.

What do you see in Ruiz vs Joshua 2;

I see Joshua dominating.

What would you like to say in closing?

I would like to thank everyone who supports me, my coach and manager Peter Carabatsos who is giving me the chance to conquer my dreams, and 4 Champs Promotions, with whom we will accomplish a lot of things together.
